Eames,</a> has won the <a title="Lambda Players" href="http://www.lambdaplayers.com" target="_blank">Lambda Players</a> &#8220;Best Original Lesbian-Themed Play&#8221; competition. <p><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">U</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">sing the Door</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;"> </span>was a semi-finalist for the 2003 New Century Writing Award. J.D.’s short play, <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Intimate ASCII</span> was published in <span style="font-style: italic;">The Book of Estrogenius 2002,</span> and in <span style="font-style: italic;">Healthy Primates and Other Plays (A Collection of Plays from the New Playwrights Development Workshop).</span> <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Excess Baggage</span> will be published in the upcoming NPDW anthology, <span style="font-style: italic;">The Hollow.</span></p>
<p>Her latest play, <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Living in the Twilight With Our Three Selves,</span> is a story about love and hope at the end of the world.</p>
<p>J.D. has written three screenplays. <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">The Zeus Club,</span> was a semi-finalist for the 2004 <a href="http://www.pageawards.com/">Page Awards.</a></p>
<p>A member of the <a href="http://www.dramatistsguild.org/">Dramatist Guild,</a> and since 2003 a member of The Monday Night Group.</p>
<p>She had to travel all the way to Alaska to meet <a href="http://www.mondaynightgroup.net/lee-brady/">Lee Brady.</a></p>
